Dr. Ouellette’s Position at this Point in His Career
Let’s fix my position at this point in time April 17, 2025, with regard to
the clinical setting and the non-clinical, Wellness Self-Help setting. I have
decided to close the clinical practice down and retire my chiropractic license in Ontario as of June 30, 2025.
I will have a two year period to reinstate my licence should I wish to do that. I will launch WellnessRISKManagement as a new non-therapy Wellness model. Wellness RISK Management measures a person’s Wellness
RISK, (a term coined by me in 2017) in Five Pillars of Optimal
Health Secrets that I identified throughout my clinical career.
Module 1 Lifestyles
- Nutrition
- Exercise
- Spinal Health
- Rest & Relaxation
- Attitude & Perspective in life
The measurement program also measures:
Module 2 Advanced Nutrition Identifiers
Module 3 A set of important clinical indicators for
clinicians
Module 4 My own diet that I call Dr. Ouellette’s
Pain, Relief Diet
Module 5 Pertinent combination of scores for research
purposes
Nutrition is one of the Five Pillar Factors that I am targeting for improvement in people
seeking better Wellness strategies. Our healthcare clinicians are certainly a part of Wellness and that is why some
level of screening for them is left in the New Wellness Model and provided for them to use as they see fit.
All of my Five Pillars have an effect on improving blood flow when addressed correctly. It is
that improved blood flow that helps a person’s body bring the immune system to all parts of their body. However,
feeding the body poison foods on a regular daily basis, (also a term I coined at some point in the long past, and
clearly stated in my first book in May 2002), impacts the body in a way that prevents it from bringing the immune
system to all parts of the body.
I hypothesize that the food plugs up the vascular system at the tiny, capillary level of all organ systems that
have capillary levels. I am not talking about the Rouleaux phenomena here. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rouleaux)
Quote, ...capillaries can only accept free-flowing singular and independent red blood cells.

The plugging process remains to be identified by research scientists, but I suspect it has to do with
debris in the blood, sticky debris, that causes a back up of the blood flow at the capillary level for that one
section of blood flow. It may also have to do with the Hydrogen electric BOND process.
This plugging may be aggravated by the Rouleaux phenomena, but that remains to be proven. That back up of blood is
then a temporary thing until some form of strenuous exercise forces the flow along. See my article from 1999.
Take note: that is some 25 years ago.

Because the human body shunts blood from one place to another, that temporary backup location doesn’t cause a
complete death of the whole person, but it does impact the health of that local tissue. This is especially so for
tissue like cartilages that do not have a blood flow, but rather get their nutrition from surrounding tissues.
Identifying which foods cause what type of capillary vascular plug-up, and in which organ systems, is
not my job at this time. Does this blood flow and food have an impact due to Blood Type? Nice question but
it is not my job to research this topic properly. My job is to help people push the blood along by getting them to
pay attention to Wellness strategies identified by science.
What are prime offending foods? Although I might have opinions on the research necessary, I see my job as being
in that Self-Help field because that is what I see is missing in all of the
healthcare fields from general practitioners to the high end specialist levels. Everyone has their own ideas, a lot
of them personal ones, but those ideas are designed for the benefit of the patients of that one specific specialty.
I see my place as bringing this all together with a MEASUREMENT system and a
Tutoring Workshop system. That system is now called WellnessRISKManagement.
Postscript
A problem that I see is at the political level at all three or four levels of governments that do not want to
pay for Wellness, nor do they want to help people learn Wellness strategies. They give lip service for sure. But
lip service is not enough.
Some governments in some countries will pay for disease care. But, that implies waiting. Waiting for what one
might ask? Waiting until a person gets the disease and then paying for the high cost of care. Thus, they ignore the
low cost for prevention because of the financial predicament all governments find themselves in. This high cost for
disease care is not going to go away and it impacts the decisions the politicians make. They need to get ReElected
right? Ah!
I have already been to politicians on numerous occasions in Ontario, and not a single one has been able to grasp
the importance of prevention especially in the field, where food is involved and especially with the
FoodPainConnection. Politicians are a funny group of people with major priorities focussed on
themselves and reelection, but let’s not get into all that today because it distracts from the need to
publicize a new model for Self-Help Wellness strategies.
At one point in time in the distant past I ran a Mohawk College course in Hamilton, Ontario on food and pain ie
the Pain Relief Diet. Ok, that was fun I thought. I was able to connect with a larger group of people than a
one-to-one clinician setting. Being human I had a lot of other multitasking to do like most people. The issue with
college courses is that people still have to pay for them. They have to pay for Wellness RISKManagement too, but I get to control that.
Workers are our first Target Audience. That does not mean non workers are left out. I re-wrote command line
protocols to include non workers. I struggled with that for a while then saw it as an eventuality for the future
anyway so, wrote it all up.
We are ready to go.
